Overview
We were founded in 1989, we are 36 years old
We meet most Tuesdays, 7:30-8:30 PM at Langston Hughes Middle School
We aim for one campout or big activity per month
Each summer we have:
Scout camp, various locations (typically the last week of June)
Opportunity to attend one or more high adventure program—Philmont (New Mexico), Sea Base (Florida Keys, Virgin Islands, Bahamas), Northern Tier (Minnesota/Manitoba/Ontario), Summit Bechtel Reserve (West Virginia)
We have 40 registered Scouts, a Scoutmaster and 9 Assistant Scout Masters (ASM’s)
138 Scouts have earned the Eagle Scout rank in our Troop!

Our Troop meets most Tuesdays, 7:30-8:30 PM at Langston Hughes Middle School in Reston, VA.
Scouts plan activities such as campouts, hikes, bike rides, and service projects throughout the year.
